Bay Kingdom Kids – Bay City Church

Ages 2 – 13

Here at Bay City Church, we highly value children and believe God wants to work in the lives of children just as much as adults. Our heart and vision is to raise up secure children who understand their identity in God and go on to become leaders in every area of society, making an everlasting impact.

Our Sunday kids programme helps to lay a solid biblical foundation in the lives of our Rooted Kids. We begin our programme with worship, and then break into different age groups for the morning’s lesson, activities and games.

Age Specific Classes

Acorns

Ages 2 – 3

Acorns is all about learning through play. We start laying a biblical foundation through story-telling, play dough activities, colouring etc. We also have free play time for children to interact with one another.

Sprouts

Sunflowers

Aloes

Oaks

Ages 11 – 13

The Oaks class provides pre-teens with powerful spiritual input through open discussions, activities and lessons that cover relevant topics for this age group. We also organise activities outside of a Sunday service, such as hikes, sleepovers, fellowship days and art sessions. Deeper kids are also encouraged to get involved in church by assisting leaders in the younger Kingdom Kids classes.

The Process

Register
Register in the main foyer between 9am and 9:30am. Our friendly volunteers will be on hand to show you where to go. You will receive a tag for yourself and your child will receive a wristband.
Registration Closes
Registration closes at 9:30am. Please make sure you have registered your child before 9:30am.
Class Time
The best part of a child’s week! Fun, games, worship, stories, activities and more!
Collection Time
Collect your child from their classroom at 11:30am. Be sure to return your tag for next week.

Kids Facilities

We have a number of Rooted Kids classrooms that cater specifically for our youngest members at Bay City Church.

Parents with toddlers are invited to use the toddler room during the service, accessible from the foyer.

We also have a nursing room for moms with young babies, accessible from inside the church auditorium.
